VERTICAL FARMING, UGANDA
Many families live in poverty and can only survive through donations from relatives or friends. However, many of them lack only knowledge and capital to improve their livelihoods. With a little support, these people can start small projects like “Vertical Farming,” which contributes to food security. At the same time, they increase their household income by selling vegetables. “Vertical Farming” uses wood and recycled plastic materials to address all agro-climatic challenges. The pots can be placed on a roof, a veranda, a walkway, or even an office building. This allows for year-round vegetable cultivation, unaffected by climatic changes like drought.
With your help, we support the Kisa Foundation Uganda in this vital project. The goal of this project is to share knowledge, utilize local resources, create jobs, and ensure basic needs are met.
